The HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industry in Bangladesh is undergoing significant transformations, driven by evolving technological advancements, changing environmental concerns, and shifting consumer preferences. As the nation progresses toward sustainable development and economic growth, several key trends are shaping the future landscape of the HVACR sector. Hence this year in 2024, it held one of the largest international exhibitions on the infrastructure industry of Bangladesh, called the SAFECON expo.
In this SAFECON Expo, the main hall was Hall #4， H.Stars stand number is H4-B62, which has another 3 exhibition halls this time, featuring a total of 191 exhibitors, including 19 Chinese exhibitors and 171 local Bangladeshi and other international brand exhibitors. The exhibition attracted significant interest from HVAC engineering companies and solar system engineering companies, giving us deeper insights into the Bangladeshi market.
One of the foremost trends in Bangladesh's HVACR industry is the increasing emphasis on energy efficiency. With a growing awareness of energy consumption and its environmental implications, there is a notable shift towards adopting energy-efficient HVACR systems. Technologies such as variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and inverter-driven compressors are gaining traction as they offer improved efficiency and reduced operational costs.
In line with global sustainability initiatives, there is a rising demand for green HVACR solutions in Bangladesh. This involves the use of eco-friendly refrigerants, including HFOs and natural refrigerants such as the fourth generation refrigerant, ammonia, and carbon dioxide, to minimize environmental impact and comply with regulatory standards.
Government initiatives and regulations also exert significant influence on the HVACR industry in Bangladesh. Policies promoting energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and safety standards stimulate innovation and market growth while ensuring compliance with international norms.
Before this exhibition, we sent invitation letters to our long-term cooperative customers. As expected, they all came to the site to have in-depth exchanges with us, reached new cooperative relationships, and invited us to visit their companies and factories.

According to the Bangladeshi HVAC industry, the Bangladeshi government is vigorously developing urban construction. During our visits to many customers, we observed numerous buildings under construction. This presents an opportunity for us to gain some market share. Our chillers are particularly popular among customers for use in local hotels, hospitals, shopping malls, and factories.
