How to maintain the radiator

First, check the radiator interface for leaks

    During the heating period, the surface temperature of the radiator is high, so there will be a phenomenon of thermal expansion and contraction, especially at the pipe joint, which is the main point of water leakage. Once the heating is stopped, the interface is loose, which will cause water leakage. Therefore, it is recommended that the user carefully check whether there is water leakage at the interface after stopping the heating. If there is water leakage, use the waterproof belt to tighten the leaking area to avoid destroying the furniture and the floor. Then contact the professional maintenance personnel to come to the repair.

Second, the radiator cleaning
     After a heating season, whether it is inside the radiator or outside the radiator, it will accumulate a lot of dust and impurities. After the heating is finished, the radiator must be cleaned. The surface cleaning can use daily detergent, weak alkalisex soapy water, etc., to avoid other organic solutions corroding the radiator or destroying the surface oxide film.

Third, whether the heating radiator must be full of water maintenance
     Under normal circumstances, the decisive factor of whether the radiator needs full water maintenance is the material of the radiator itself. If it is a steel radiator, it must be full of water maintenance, because the steel is afraid of oxidative corrosion, and the water maintenance effectively isolates the air. This extends the life of the radiator. The aluminum radiator is easily corroded under alkaline conditions. Therefore, in some areas, the heating water quality is alkaline water, and the water is not covered. The copper-aluminum composite radiator is the best anti-corrosion radiator. The inner wall is made of copper pipe which can have strong anti-corrosion performance, and the outer wall is made of aluminum fan blade to form a protective film to prevent corrosion under oxidation. Full water maintenance is very simple, just close the valves on both sides. Under normal circumstances, when the valve handle and the pipe are in the same direction, it is open, otherwise it is closed.

Fourth, the daily maintenance of the radiator needs to know
     The most feared of the radiator is the squeezing bump. The radiator is usually exposed. It is easy to bump. Generally, the collision is easy to cause leakage at the interface. Like the copper-aluminum composite radiator, the material is soft. Strikes or collisions can easily cause the cooling air duct to be blocked, so routine maintenance must find the right way to avoid damage to the radiator.
